My family consists of my Mom, Dad, and my older sister.
My dad works at Eastman Kodak Company. He has for the past many
years. I really have no idea how long. My mom used to also work there,
but then she quit when she had my sister and me. When we were older I
think I was 10 or so my parents decided to open a store of the chain Mail Boxes
Etc. My mom during one icy
day slipped on the ice behind the store and broke her ankle. She now has permanent
damage to her ankle and her nervous system.
Due to her accident we had to move. She was unable to do many stairs
and our house was a raised ranch, so everything was stairs. In my
freshman year in high school we moved about an mile down the road. Our house
now is mostly all on one floor except for my room and my sisters room which
are on the second floor. My grandma now lives in our new house with
us. We have two dogs Susie, a sheepdog, and Ritchie, a shiatsu poodle.
Ritchie is actually my grandma's dog. Unfortunately we had to put
Susie down November of 2002
due for the most part to old age. I will miss her deeply. She is my
favorite dog ever. She cared so much. Yes for a dog she cared a lot.

The newest edition to my family is my neice
Juliana Elizabeth. She was born on June 6, 2007. We just
celebrated her first birthday. See the pictures below.
All of the above is a
quick over view of my closest family. My other family is a bit more
distant and we keep in touch more to do the holidays together. My dad's
parents used to live next door to us and then one of his brothers lived next to
them. It was nice when I was a kid cause then I could just walk down the
street and see most of my family. My mom's bother used to live in Kentucky,
but now he lives nearby in Brockport.
Every year the Wyant family gets
together for a family reunion. My father has worked a lot at trying to
complete our family tree. He has many many names not all of these people
attend the reunion, but we try to get more and more every year. In 2001
there were two new people that my dad talked with over e-mail about some family
tree things. This please my dad since he was able to get some more
information. My great grandmother also attended. They were able to
break her out of the nursing home. Below are a few pictures of the past
reunions. |
